Steel repairs

Steel repairs or replacement is one of the primary tasks to be performed during the drydocking of a vessel. In Joseph Industrial Shipyard, we use quality American steel and electrodes certified by ABS. This assures our customers we are providing good quality material to their vessels. For installing the new steel we have certified ABS and Lloyds welders, who apply the procedures of the welding process to guarantee their work. 

For checking the welds we offer different tests to ensure that the welded material was done perfectly. Among the tests include vacuum testing, dye check, magnetic particle test, among others, that could be asked by our customers, depending on their needs.
